ICF Coaching

My coaching approach is grounded in both heart and professionalism. As an International Coaching Federation (ICF)–trained coach, I follow globally recognized standards that ensure our work together is ethical, effective, and designed to create lasting transformation. This page shares what ICF coaching is, why credentials matter, and what you can expect from working with me.

What is ICF Coaching?
ICF coaching is a professional framework that helps you clarify goals, uncover obstacles, and move forward with confidence. Unlike advice-giving or mentoring, ICF coaching is client-led - you bring the focus, and I support you with powerful questions, reflection, action plans, resources, and accountability.

Why Credentials Matter
The International Coaching Federation is the gold standard in the coaching profession. Working with an ICF coach means you’re partnering with someone who has met rigorous training requirements, follows a strict code of ethics, and is committed to your growth and well-being.

My Training & Ethics
I completed professional certified coach training through an ICF-accredited coaching school, Born to Coach Training Academy, which means I’ve received extensive education in coaching competencies, ethics, and client-centered practice. I’m committed to ongoing professional development and always create a safe, supportive space for your growth.

How ICF Coaching Differs from Therapy, Teaching, Consulting, or Mentoring

  • Coaching focuses on your present and future - helping you set goals, make decisions, and take aligned action.

  • Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds or clinical mental health concerns.

  • Mentoring involves guidance from someone with specific expertise, while coaching is about drawing out your own wisdom and potential.

  • Consulting/Teaching is when I provide structured advice, tools, or education on areas I specialize in, such as career, health, work/life balance, relationships, spirituality, finances, and personal growth.

A Flexible Approach
While I primarily coach from an ICF framework, I also integrate teaching, mentoring, and consulting when it best serves your growth. This means our work can flow between deep self-discovery, practical guidance, and skill-building, depending on your needs.

What to Expect Working With Me
In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative mix of coaching, reflection, and tools tailored to you. Some days we may lean into coaching questions, while other times I might teach practices, offer resources, or share insights. You’ll always walk away with clarity, actionable steps, and support that feels aligned with your goals and values.
